Career guidance
As a specialist provider with the Employment Directions Network, Outcare works with clients to find out what jobs are available and which ones they are suited to.
Our re-entry employment specialist closely monitor the job market and have access to a comprehensive database of potential employers who are keen to provide opportunities for our clients.
Jobstart
Outcare also has a Job placement service which it operates under the name of Jobstart.
Our clients have access to an open area with computers, phones and faxes to use during their job search.
Training
If our clients require training Outcare will help them choose the right course and guide them through the application process.
Clients aged over 40 who are looking to re-skill may also be eligible for some financial support through Outcare’s Mature Age Training Scheme.
Managing a criminal record
Outcare helps clients manage their criminal record by applying for jobs which have less requirements.
We also help people apply for Spent Convictions (after 10 years) which mean they will no longer appear on their record for employment purposes and do not need to be disclosed on an application.
Fines
If clients have outstanding fines, Outcare will negotiate on their behalf and help them make payment arrangements that suit their budget.
Drivers licence issues
If your licence is under court suspension you may be able to apply foran extraordinary drivers licence. Costs may apply.
